This Model 1884 rifle is in excellent condition. It is one manufactured in 1889 with a minty new bore!!!
The rifle shows VERY little usage and the metal is in excellent condiution. Dried oil can be seen in
the wood/metal junctions. The color case on the rifle is very dark, but very clear.
The stock has very few scattered scratches, and has some walnut "tiger grain".
The cartouche and firing proof are very sharp and clear. The stock has not been sanded. The
mechanics are excellent.
A VERY collectible/shootable rifle!!
