1884 Carbine, SN412940
This Model 1884 carbine has a new Bob Hoyt sleeved barrel which is ideal for
competition shooting since the sleeve is hard enough to shoot jacketed ammo,
which eliminates the leading problem. The carbine was probably refurbished for
the Spam-Am War. The stock has been lightly sanded and the outline of the
cartouche and circle P are visible.
metal is blue, and there is a carbine snap-on front sight cover.
The rifling in the barrel is the standard three lands and grooves with a 22 inch twist.
