1884 Carbine, SN"31297"
This Model 1884 carbine has a pristine bore with deep and shiny rifling and the cutter marks
from the rifling machine are very clear. There is a faint circle P firing proof, but the
cartouche is missing. The bluing and stock are excellent!!. The serial number on the gun
is evidently missing a digit or the number is not the original one that Springfield put on
the receiver. The stock has
not been sanded. There is weak color case on
the block and tang.
The bluing is excellent and the stock is excellent.
