Hazen Loops

Hazen Loops

Hazen Loops were developed in the mid-1880's as a convenient way for troopers to carry twenty 45 caliber cartridges using the standard issue leather belt. They are hard to find, so the number issued was not large. Following their issue, the army came out with the Dyer pouch and the cartridge belt which limited the need for the Hazen Loops. In any case, they are hard to find and most of the ones found were produced at Benica Arsenal. These are marked: U.S./ARSENAL/BENICA Contact Al at Al Frasca
