CW/50-70 Rifle Bayonet

Sold The CW/50-70 bayonet is a little different than most. First, it came with an M66 F-P War Rifle. Possibly it was with the M66's when they went to France since it is not a Springfield Arsenal bayonet. First, it has a small "W" on the socket which most collectors believe is a Whitney stamp, and secondly the US on the blade has a dash between the letters. Having a dash between the U and S is quite rare and probably means a low production contract blade. $125 + S/H.

Tang Sight.

The tang sight does not have a maker's name and the mounting base is curved to fit the trapdoor stock. It appears to be well made and it has seen very little service. The range calibration on the side of the sight (0.0 to 5.0) indicates it is for a large caliber rifle. $110 + S/H
